Beauty at home
As a single parent I struggle to get to the hairdressers let alone have the money to spend on beauty treatments. What I have done is sign up to just about every trial going via websites such as http://www.clixresearch.com and using http://www.moneysavingexpert.com to find out about other websites that offer trials. Toluna does but demand is high, it really is all about keeping any eye on your e-mail account, use your smart phone but get yourself in there straight away and keep your profile up to date.
When it comes to paying for treatments try out your local Beauty School or College. Just a few minutes on google will reveal where they are and how much treatments cost. I would advise anything major like a cut or colour on your hair then go for a final year student but for nails or something equally less risky then a first year should be good enough.
The other way of getting a cheap deal is using websites like KGB

Or Groupon which is very popular & can be customised by the city you live in

I managed to get all my haircuts & highlights for about £15 for the last year using different hairdressers. I would normally pay at least £80 for this so all in all a great saving. I sometimes buy gifts on here for relatives, you also get credit for referring people. Get these great deals posted on your Facebook and not only share them with friends but earn credit too.
My last way of getting a great deal on beauty for yourself is learning home made techniques such as creating face masks, plucking your own eyebrows & dyeing them yourself, applying false eyelashes & creating your own up-do's & make-up techniques at home. For this I really recommend youtube. I learned all kinds of beauty techniques from this and particularly recommend http://www.youtube.com/user/kandeejohnson and http://www.youtube.com/user/JLovesMac1 and http://www.youtube.com/user/bubzbeauty .There are plenty of excellent demonstrators on youtube so if you want advice on how to bleach your teeth at home, dye your hair then this is your bible as you get to see exactly how things work!

Best ever wrinkle tip!
My favourite beauty saving tip is this & please do not laugh at the picture!! I had thought about having Botox (thanks to The Only Way is Essex probably) but obviously can't afford it so here is what I do. Take some micropore, wash your face, dry, moisturise & then while stretching your forehead wrinkles out (pulling them vertical to smooth them) stick the precut micropore starting from one end while still stretching each new section of skin. You can also cut a V and use for crows feet. Do this daily for as long as you are alone & you should really notice a difference. If I'm brave enough I will add a vid.
Nails at home and Princess Parties
Local business for beauty: This is my friends Facebook profile for her Leeds business. Check it out. Great idea for little girl's parties too.
